Love Unlimited Vibes is a vinyl only label which puts out some heavy soul music. No artist recognitions and the tracks are named after the side and chronological appearance on that side. Some real shit. This is their eight release comprising a psychedelic rock dilly, a somewhat darker house joint and this right here. Yeah, there’s a skip, get that vinyl boy!
A really nice atmospheric house joint. Mellow chords and a tight no nonsense 4/4 drum. Energetic and laidback at the same time, you dig? Stay deep, stay positive and never complain to your neighbour when he puts on somethin’ dope like this and plays it loud. It’s supposed to be heard!
A sluggish house beat on the first day of the week is what’s on the CREEM menu. This is one of those tracks that has that beat sluggishness combined with that deephouse hypnotism. A good marriage one might debate. Get your freak ooon!
Lovely crooked house music, energetic and all over the place. Dirty yet clean like a cheap hooker after a long hot shower. If this track was a human being it would’ve probably had a grandpa that was a breakbeat.
A laidback relaxed housetrack, somethin’ you can put on during a couch potato session but works well in a club too. It has a really nice sluggish vibe to it and deep slow vocals adding depth to it. Think lucid dream alligator wrestling, only the alligator is a soft cushion and instead of wrestling your embracing it.
The bright and serene hihat is a comforting sound. Deep kick adds depth and then the melody line kicks in. Ain’t no coincidence the album’s called Staar Wars. Just close your eyes and fly to infinity on this 4th dimensional deephouse rocketship.
